Odds are the whole plan's: the share of every way the cards could have been dealt on which the best plan through that card guarantees the target against best defence, with the cards already played fixed and every other way the play could have gone left open. They are not the chance left from here, so a card never reads above the line's first figure, and a card that throws the plan away reads 0%. An entry is counted each time the lead has to change hands after a trick you won, in either direction; the first lead, and the lead after a trick the defenders won, are free from either hand.
