Refunds and cancellation
Fourteen days to change your mind on any charge, including renewals. Cancel whenever you like and keep what you have paid for until it runs out.
Last updated 9 August 2026
The short version
- 14 days to ask for a refund on any charge — a first purchase, a renewal, monthly or yearly. No reason needed.
- Cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not cut short the period you have already paid for.
- Nothing is deleted when a subscription ends. Your games, boards, statistics and rating stay where they are, and casual play stays free and unlimited.
How to cancel
Open Settings → Billing and follow the link to the Paddle customer portal, where you can cancel the subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your paid tier stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and the account reverts to free casual play after that.
If you cannot reach the portal, write to support@bridgearena.net and we will cancel it for you. Do not let a broken link cost you a renewal.
The refund window
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of any charge. That covers your first payment and every automatic renewal after it, on both monthly and yearly plans. You do not have to give a reason.
After 14 days we are not obliged to refund a charge, but we would still rather hear from you than not — a renewal you did not notice, or a plan you have not been able to use, is worth asking about. Ask at support@bridgearena.net .
Cancelling part-way through a period
If you cancel in the middle of a month or a year, the subscription runs to the end of the period you have paid for and then stops. We do not refund the unused part pro rata — you keep the access instead of getting the money back.
The 14-day window above is what covers a renewal you did not want, including on a yearly plan. If a year renewed and you noticed within a fortnight, that is a refund, not a part-period calculation.
Paddle as merchant of record
Paddle sells the subscription to you and takes the payment, so a refund is issued by Paddle and returns to the payment method you used. It usually lands within five to ten working days, depending on your bank — the delay after Paddle approves it is not something either of us controls.
You can ask either of us. A request sent to support@bridgearena.net is passed to Paddle by us; a request made through Paddle reaches them directly. We aim to acknowledge within two working days.
Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the transaction alongside this policy. Where this policy is more generous than Paddle's — as the 14-day window on renewals is — we honour this one. Where Paddle's terms or your local law give you a right this page does not mention, you keep that right; nothing here reduces it.
Your statutory rights
BridgeArena is operated from Singapore, which has no general cooling-off period for online purchases. The 14-day window on this page is therefore something we offer, not a minimum we are meeting.
Some countries give consumers a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content, sometimes waivable at checkout in exchange for immediate access. Where you have such a right you keep it, and our 14 days sit on top of it rather than instead of it — including on renewals, which statutory windows often do not reach. Consumer rights in your own country that cannot be contracted out of are unaffected by anything on this page.
When we might say no
We are not obliged to refund a charge more than 14 days old, a founding-member grant or anything else that was never paid for, or an account closed for a serious breach of the terms — cheating at the table, most of all. Repeated subscribe-and-refund cycles will end with us declining the next one.
