The same seven cards wanted a different first card at three tricks than at four. Why?

• Because four tricks is harder, so you have to guess
• Because the two targets are different questions: one asks for certainty, the other asks for a chance, and the cards that buy each are not the same
• Because the odds table changes with the number of tricks
• Because at four tricks you must always cash winners first
