A jack with something behind it
Ace, king, five opposite jack, ten, two. Last lesson the jack opposite two small was worth nothing at all. Add the ten and it is worth half the suit.
Run the jack. If West covers with the queen you win, and the ten is now the highest card out. If West does not cover, the jack wins the trick.
Take 3 tricks.
